InfoSynthesis & Organization was formed to facilitate the collection, documentation, and sharing of information, especially data, at all levels of an organization. The broad goal is to increase data-driven decision-making (informed choice, if you will) by administrators and policy-makers by helping organizations design and manage thorough and effective information systems.

Mission

The mission of InfoSynthesis is to assist education agencies to

increase the use of existing data and information in decision-making,
improve the quality of the data that is collected,
improve the documentation of data that is collected,
promote the sharing of lessons learned across agencies, and
assist in the development of tools to collect, maintain, and analyze data and share findings.
