Web ChangesWelcome! InfoSynthesis & Organization is new to business, so the whole site is new. Current Activities Currently, InfoSynthesis is developing a web-enabled data documentation system and a series of training materials for state education agencies. In addition, we are creating a "data map" outlining what data is available when for each state. They types of topics included in the map are enrollment, demographic, program participation, dropout, assessment, course taking, and college-going data. Look for the data map in Sept-Oct 2004. Finally, a book on writing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for statewide information systems is in the works. This, too, should be available in fall 2004. The book gathers words of wisdom from state education agency staff who have recently written RFPs and from vendors who respond to them.
