Lessons Learned Series This series of training materials will address issues faced by a number of state education agencies (SEAs) and include lessons learned about the specific topic from the SEAs and/or Vendors. The series is designed to facilitate communication across SEAs and help some avoid potential costly mistakes based on the experiences of others. Feedback from vendors will be included when applicable to further assist the SEAs. Examples of topics include:
E-Dict Documentation System InfoSynthesis is in the development phase for a new product/service, E-Dict Documentation System. E-Dict is a web-enabled data documentation product that outlines an agency's data collections, collection procedures, and data elements. E-Dict enables a user to review the definition of and acceptable values for every data element collected by the agency and then link to the variable's data collection documentation and the collection's submission procedures.
